Karl Flower, CPA

Karl has been serving clients in public accounting since 2006, building a career defined by technical depth, steady leadership, and a genuine interest in the people behind the numbers. After earning his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey, he began developing broad experience across nonprofit organizations, construction companies, employee benefit plans, and manufacturing businesses. His work has also included extensive Form 990 preparation and meaningful involvement in the profession’s quality-control process through peer reviews of other CPA firms.

As a Partner at Watson Coon Ryan, LLC, Karl leads the planning and execution of audit, review, and compilation engagements. His background as both a manager and partner has shaped a thoughtful, client-centered approach—one grounded in earning trust, staying accessible, and supporting organizations through complex financial reporting needs. His commitment to the profession extends beyond the firm as well, reflected in his service on the Colorado Society of CPAs Peer Review Committee.

Karl is a licensed CPA and an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants (COCPA), and the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA). He also holds an Advanced Certificate in Not-for-Profit Accounting from the AICPA, underscoring his dedication to continuous learning and specialized expertise.
